One of those SV cards can be inserted in place of the Reverse Holo card in any pack and therein is the key to the massive success and popularity of Hidden Fates. This subset features over 75 shiny Pokemon that can be randomly drawn from any pack. However, the real draw of Hidden Fates is not the primary set, but the subset within it called Shiny Vault or SV. These are definitely the three main cards that you want from this set as they are iconic, have exceptional art, and match up nicely with the SM210 promo. Along with the main set being Kanto heavy, it also introduces a new Tag Team GX Card and the different rarity variants featuring all three legendary birds. When most collectors and investors think of Pokemon, they think of Pikachu and Charizard, so when there are Pikachu and Charizard in the set, that is a good sign. Looking at the standard cards in the set, there are a lot of original 151 Kanto Pokemon, which is a good start for collectors and investors alike. And the next best part is what is in these packs and why this post has INVEST NOW! in the title. Excellent pack art featuring some of the most iconic Pokemon of all time. You get 10 of them in the box so that is $110 right there. They have been rising steadily and have been sitting at ~$11 per pack for the last couple months. Single packs were $5 each out of the gate and have never gone down. With just the promo card it is clear to see the value of this box, but the next draw is the Hidden Fates Booster Packs themselves. Population Data for SM210 as of 2020 December 30: PSA10 Looking at the PSA population data below, you can see it is not a particularly difficult card to grade either. As of 2020 December 30 the market price for: factory sealed is ~$40, PSA8 is ~$65, PSA9 is ~$100, PSA10 is ~$250. This card was being pre-sold on Ebay for $25-$30 at release, which was half the price of the box! and the demand for this card has not slowed. It is a first on the English side to feature the stained glass style artwork by HYOGONOSUKE. Seen here in its glory, SM210 is only obtainable in the Hidden Fates Elite Trainer Box. In 6 months, the Elite Trainer Box had skyrocketed to $200, and by September of 2020 (1 year after release), they were selling for $350+ on the secondhand market, a 7x increase! The first clear draw of this box is the exclusive promo, SM210 The MSRP was $49.99, but almost instantly sold out on all store shelves. Even prior to the initial release of the Elite Trainer Box in September of 2019, this box was difficult to get. It is no surprise that Hidden Fates is one of the most popular Pokemon TCG Sets ever released.
